Desert Ster Waterberge

Desert Star Waterberge

The Waterberge Plateau lies just east of Otjiwarongo, casting an almost 200 meter shadow over the surrounding plains. A 20 kilometer wide and 50 kilometer long 'table mountain', the Waterberge is thick with lush vegetation.

Wild fig trees, fire lilies, coral trees and fauna abound and it is home to the endangered Black and White Rhino, Sable Antelope and Blue Wildebeest.

While visiting Desert Star you will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to observe over 200 different species of birds including the spectacular Black Eagle and Namibia's only breeding colony of Cape Vultures. The scenery here is simply breathtaking.

Permanent film sets will include: Adventure & Recreational Sets.
